Award for innovative project on AI and literary learning
IWM Director Prof. Dr. Ulrike Cress and Prof. Dr. Carolin Führer (University of Tübingen) have received this year’s Research Award from the Dr. K. H. Eberle Foundation. The award honours their joint project, which explores how co-constructive learning with artificial intelligence can be successfully implemented in German language education – with a particular focus on literary understanding and knowledge construction.
The prize, endowed with €100,000, is presented annually to a forward-looking research project at the University of Tübingen that stands out for its social relevance and practical impact. Since 2017, the Dr. K. H. Eberle Foundation, based in Lörrach, has supported innovative research at the University of Tübingen and beyond. Established from the estate of entrepreneur Dr. Karl Helmut Eberle, the foundation is dedicated to the long-term promotion of research and innovation.
