Garvin Brod has been heading the Individual Development and Adaptive Learning Lab at the IWM since 2026 and is Professor of Psychology at the University of Tuebingen. His research focuses on children’s learning and self-regulation in the context of digital media use. He conducts fundamental research to better understand processes of learning and development. At the same time, he applies this knowledge to improve children’s learning by developing digital technologies that adapt to the individual needs of children.
