Markus Schmidt has been part of the IWM since 2009. His main focus is on transfer, open source and open education. He deals with open source-based systems, open educational resources, Creative Commons licenses, metadata and open badges. He is also responsible for the technical and conceptual development of the information and qualification portal e-teaching.org. This includes the integration of web-based systems for communication and internal collaboration, as well as the further development of the Plone-based content management system for e-teaching.org based on Plone 6 and Python.
