Rabiya Abdullah has been working as a Research Associate and PhD student at the Everyday Media Lab since January 2026. Her research focuses on political communication embedded in entertainment-oriented short-form videos on social media and its potential implications for political knowledge and perceptions, using computational and experimental approaches. She holds an M.A. in Social Sciences (Internet & Society) from the University of Zürich, Switzerland.
