Our director, Prof. Dr. Ulrike Cress, will be participating in a panel discussion at the Cannstatter Forum on 23 October at 7 p.m. on the topic of ‘Blessing or curse? Dealing with artificial intelligence (AI)’. This event will examine the tension between the opportunities offered by the use of AI and the risks associated with it from various perspectives.


Other participants in the discussion include:

  • Petra Olschowski, Member of the State Parliament, Minister of Science, Research and Arts for Baden-Württemberg
  • Prof. Dr. habil. Martin Plümicke, Professor of Computer Science, Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University (DHBW) Stuttgart Campus Horb
  • Prof. Dr. Martin Wendte, Pastor of Friedenskirche and City Church Pastor in Ludwigsburg, Honorary Professor at the Protestant University of Applied Sciences Ludwigsburg

Peter Steinle, pastor and director of studies for theological ethics with a focus on digitality at the Protestant Academy Bad Boll, will moderate the event.

Admission is free and registration is not required. The event will be held in German.
