The junior research group will be part of the newly established ‘Digital Education’ lab

To strengthen research in the field of digital teaching scenarios, IWM has set up a junior research group and has now successfully filled the leadership position. In the future, the group will focus on how digital technologies, such as augmented and virtual reality, artificial intelligence, online videos, and adaptive tools, can be used effectively in teaching.

The focus will be on empirical studies of teaching and learning processes in the TüDiLab – for example, using video analysis or eye tracking – as well as the development of innovative applications, such as AI-supported tools, dashboards, and AR/VR scenarios.

The junior research group, which Man (Echo) Su has headed since 15 October, has been allocated a doctoral position and will be part of the newly established ‘Digital Education’ lab, for which the recruitment process is currently still ongoing.
